We have a permanent full-time team working on the Teachers TV account. Based in our Bangkok office, they work directly with the Teachers TV team in London to;
The key challenge is creating a project methodology with Teachers TV to best deliver an efficient turnaround and delivery. We worked with the client to recruit a team and set them up in our Bangkok office. The permanent team can then work with others in the agency for the video projects we have also developed.
We're working to an Agile project process, with daily scrum meetings with the team in the UK. We find this works well because of the ongoing, evolving nature of the partnership.
The dedicated team have been developing a new framework for the whole site and have delivered several phases of that to date. In addition the agency has created multiple video applications including:
TTV Shared Player
The TTV Shared Player enables partners to create a playlist of up to 15 programmes at any one time which they can then embed into their website. This allows partners to enhance the service they provide on their website and also acts as a great marketing / cross referral tool for TTV. See an example »
Promo Player
Featured on the homepage this player enables TTV to create a promotional playlist of the latest programmes on their site. Users can then click through and view the programme in full.
Online Channels
Based on a TV style channel guide, TTV content editors can create and update channel playlists on their homepage so users can easily search through channels that they are interested in and view programmes.
Enhanced Video Player
At crucial stages when viewing a programme the user will be prompted to view or download additional support resources such as PDF documents and videos that support their learning.
We've been working with Teachers TV since 2008 and helped them launch their new site in that time. The relationship has gone from strength to strength and the plans are to grow the permanent team in Bangkok.
