Issue
Skechers, the footwear company, needed a new international site to support their growth in Europe, Canada and South America. They wanted to give users a fun way to see the various styles available in their region and to locate their nearest stockists.

Insight
With clients whose business is primarily a visual one, there is often a benefit in using the elements of what they do (their products) as a way of allowing users to quickly scan through. When it comes to visuals, we are able to process a lot of information very quickly when compared to the written word.
Solution
We developed a single system that generated regional sites to work across 11 countries and 8 languages integrated with a lively and engaging flash front end. Each country has its own content management system to upload products and stockist details. A Google Maps Mashup was used to create a location based search of nearby shops from the user's postcode.
"Codegent has done a great job at capturing the excitement and energy of the Skechers brand and we look forward to developing the site further as more ranges come on board." - Todd Wade, European IT director
